People’s March:
Support our Community. Defend our Survival.
Saturday, January 18, 2025. 12:00pm.
Heritage Park. Olympia, WA.
The People’s March will begin at Heritage Park at Noon, where we will gather and hear from speakers about the following issues before taking to the streets to demand justice. We will rally at Heritage Park and then march to the Capitol where there will be a second rally.
•Immigrant Justice
•Economic Justice/Anti-Capitalism
•Free Palestine
•Climate Defense and Indigenous Sovereignty
•Trans Liberation
•Black Self-Determination and Resisting Police Brutality
•Reproductive Freedom
The Festival of Resistance will begin immediately after the march at the WFSE 443 meeting rooms, 906 Columbia SW, Room 205, in downtown Olympia. The aim is to build a united front against the intensification of authoritarianism and oppression, locally, nationally and globally by the incoming Trump administration.
Food and drinks will be provided. There will be an opportunity to warm up, rest and socialize before we break into discussion groups to cultivate a network of movements for the coming years. Small discussion pods will share resources, ideas, and plans to build a larger and better connected movement in Olympia and beyond.
Please join the People’s March and Festival of Resistance on Saturday January 18, 2025 in Olympia, WA!
