RCF supports efforts on a local, national, and international scale. Our impact is felt by college students, children living under occupation in Gaza, the Arab-American community, artists, athletes, writers, grassroots organizers, and so many more. We would not be able to sustain these broad efforts without the help of committed donors and friends all around the world.
While there are many ways you can support the Rachel Corrie Foundation, listed below are various methods you can choose to help financially sustain our work.
PayPal, or Network for Good
Both are secure and both reach us — the difference is mostly which suits you.
PayPal. Quickest if you already have an account. PayPal covers the processing fee, so a little more of your gift reaches us. Two things worth knowing: your tax receipt comes from PayPal Giving Fund rather than from us, and your gift reaches us anonymously unless you tick the box asking PayPal to share your details. Please do tick it if you would like us to be able to say thank you.
Network for Good. Give by card or bank, once or monthly. Your receipt comes from us, and we will know the gift is yours, so we can thank you and keep you posted on the work it supports.
Matching gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees — your gift to RCF could be doubled or even tripled. Each company has its own guidelines for employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. If your company is eligible, go to your company’s matching gift website or request a matching gift form from your employer.
Most employer giving sites let you search by our tax ID. Everything you need is below — one click copies it.
Completed and signed matching gift forms can be mailed to the address above with your personal gift.
Washington State employees: Combined Fund Drive
The Combined Fund Drive (CFD) is Washington State’s workplace giving program for active and retired public employees. State and higher education employees are invited to give through payroll contribution and agency fundraising events, monthly or one-time.
On the CFD search page, put 1478789 in the Charity Code box and press Search, then choose “Start giving to this charity.” The CFD has no direct link to an individual charity, so the code is how you get to us.
Donor-advised funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that makes it easy for donors to dedicate tax-deductible funds to support a nonprofit organization. RCF currently receives funds from several different DAFs and would be happy to suggest options to those interested — email us and we’ll help.
Vehicle donation
Do you have a car, truck, SUV, RV, boat, motorcycle or even an airplane that you want to get rid of? RCF has partnered with CARS, a nonprofit that has been processing vehicle donations for more than 15 years.
Cheques
Please make checks payable to Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace & Justice and mail them to 203 E 4th Ave, Ste 402, Olympia, WA 98501.
