Israeli Supreme Court Decision Anticipated in Coming Months to Year in Corrie Case

Members of the Corrie family attended oral appeal arguments before the Israeli Supreme Court in Jerusalem on May 21, 2014, in the family’s wrongful death lawsuit against the Government of Israel for the Israeli military’s 2003 killing of Rachel Corrie in Rafah, Gaza. Appeal arguments filed by the family attempt to overturn a 2012 lower court verdict. A final decision from the Israeli Supreme Court is not anticipated for months to a year and will be rendered in writing.
