“We Are Them: The Words of Rachel Corrie” to air on KBTC

KBTC, a PBS affiliate based in Tacoma, will be airing a program entitled “We Are Them: The Words of Rachel Corrie,” tomorrow night (Tuesday, July 24) at 7:30. Craig and Cindy Corrie, as well as friends and fellow activists of Rachel’s, were interviewed for the documentary. The 1/2 hour program is produced by “Full Focus,” described as Washington’s only weekly documentary series.

Unfortunately, PBS and Full Focus are likely to hear negative feedback from some viewers — as is the case any time Rachel’s name is brought up in the media. To counter those comments, PBS needs to hear from those of us who support their focus on Rachel’s story and the reality of life in Gaza.
