Seattle book talk with Iyad Burnat from Bil’in

Iyad Burnat who works with the Bil’in Popular Committee in Palestine is coming to the Pacific Northwest touring to feature his new book Bil’in and the Nonviolent Resistance.


Craig and Cindy Corrie visited Iyad Burnat and his family in Bil’in on numerous occasions. Bil’in is most well-known for its weekly Friday demonstrations against Israeli land theft and ongoing for over 10 years. Iyad and the Bil’in Popular Committee who organized persistent and creative demonstrations were featured in the Oscar-nominated ‘Five Broken Cameras’ film. Now, you have a chance to hear Iyad speak about Bil’in’s decades-long struggle for justice and freedom through his first-hand experience.
