How to Counter the Assault on BDS and Freedom of Speech
– An educational event with John McKay and Bruce Johnson-
Over the past two years, several states have engaged in “lawfare,” passing bills and resolutions penalizing those participating in Boycotts of, Divestment from, and Sanctions against Israel (BDS). Join in a talk by Professor John McKay and Attorney Bruce Johnson aimed at learning how to counter such legislation.
John McKay is a law professor at the Seattle University with experience working in Palestine. Attorney Bruce Johnson is engaged in a lawsuit involving BDS. We anticipate a highly educational talk followed by a practical and action-oriented Q&A facilitated by BDS organizer Nada Elia. Please plan on attending, and invite others who may benefit from the evening’s discussion.
