During Israel’s 51-day attack on Gaza in 2014, Norwegian doctor Mads Gilbert rushed to the scene to assist. Working day and night, he documented his work at al-Shifa Hospital, wanting the rest of the world to see. In this fundraising event for
KinderUSA at Town Hall Seattle,
Gilbert will share what he witnessed and offer a call to action to help the thousands of children in Gaza still affected physically and psychologically by this devastating war. His presentation, unseen in mainstream media, is a tribute to the courage, endurance, and strong spirit of Palestinian health workers, volunteers, and the severely tested population of Gaza.
The fundraising event for KinderUSA will support the organization’s psychosocial and food security programs for Gaza’s children, who have endured three wars in six years.
TICKETS: ($10 – $50)
$10 economy seating; $25 general seating, plus post-event book signing; and $50 premium seating, plus pre-event reception.
