The Tax Cuts and Jobs Bill has been hailed by the Trump Administration as a victory for working people. But many of its elements will likely prove to be destructive to the environment and to anyone but the ultra-wealthy. This workshop will deconstruct the aspects of the new Tax Bill and what their possible impacts will be on the lives of everyday people. The Bill’s opening of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling and its effects on the Affordable Care Act will also be examined.
