Join us at our weekly Olympia peace vigil on Friday. We continue to advocate and stand together for peace, a permanent ceasefire, an arms embargo and continue to network for Palestine.
This Friday, we also demand the immediate release of Mahmoud Khalil, whom the authorities took. On the evening of March 8, 2025, Columbia University student activist Mahmoud Khalil was detained by the Department of Homeland Security. The arrest comes on the heels of the Department of State’s announcement that it plans to deport students affiliated with pro-Palestine protests. Mahmoud, who is Palestinian, is a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
Add your name to demand the immediate release of Palestinian student activist Mahmoud Khalil from DHS detention and a reversal to Columbia University’s protocol permitting ICE on campus without a warrant.
We gather to continue to advocate for freedom, equality, and justice for Palestinians and beyond.
Thank you to the Olympia Fellowship of Reconciliation for organizing the vigils and welcoming us. Please respect the peaceful and welcoming nature that FOR has maintained at these weekly vigils for so many years.
