Olympia Spring Arts Walk: Palestine 100

Join RCF for a multimedia presentation of Palestine 100, a photographic exploration of Palestinian identity. In light of 100 years since the Balfour Declaration (November 2017), Yasmeen Al-Abed and Dahlia Al Yaseen have photographed 100 Palestinians in Vancouver, B.C. along with poetry, drawings, and creative displays to celebrate the stories of their Palestinian heritage. Check out this video sample of their work!
We’ll be showcasing this project at Olympia Spring Arts Walk on Friday, April 27 (5-10 pm) and Saturday, April 28 (12-8 pm). We’ll also have Arabic treats and coffee for sale to help fundraise for Olympia Arab Festival (to be held in October during the Olympia Fall Arts Walk) as well as other goods supporting RCF and Palestinians.
