The Rachel Corrie Foundation, based in Olympia, Washington, is looking for volunteers. These are unpaid, part-time roles that support our staff. On-site roles are in Olympia and open to volunteers from Lacey, Tumwater, and the rest of Thurston County; remote roles are open from anywhere.
CURRENT VOLUNTEER ROLES
- Volunteer graphic designer — posters and graphics for events and campaigns. Remote.
- Volunteer video editor — short video clips for social media. Remote.
- Volunteer photographer / videographer — document vigils, marches, and events. On-site in Olympia.
- Volunteer musician / performer — perform at the Friday vigil, seasonal events, and the Procession of the Species. On-site in Olympia.
- Event setup and logistics volunteer — setup and takedown, building displays, and upkeep of the Olympia–Rafah Solidarity Mural. On-site in Olympia.
- Teach-in and workshop facilitator — co-facilitate teach-ins and workshops; support advocacy events. In person in Olympia or online.
- Volunteer coordinator — welcome new volunteers, match them to roles, and respond to inquiries. Mostly remote.

Fill out our volunteer interest form or apply through our listings on Idealist. We follow up within a week. Either way, please include a short statement of interest — a line or two on why you’d like to volunteer and, for creative roles, a link to your work.
