On April 10, 2026 — what would have been Rachel Corrie’s 47th birthday — the Rachel Corrie memorial at The Evergreen State College was rededicated. The ceremony featured an invocation by carver Bunni Peterson-Haitwas, a performance by the Evergreen Singers directed by choral director Jessica Blinn, remarks from Craig and Cindy Corrie, speakers including Evergreen faculty and alumni, and Rachel’s words read aloud by the Foundation’s executive director, Diana Fakhoury.
The Evergreen Singers — directed by Jessica Blinn, Evergreen’s choral director — perform at the rededication. Recorded by The Evergreen State College and shared here with thanks. One performance linking the foundation, Evergreen, and the arts community.

Diana Fakhoury, the Foundation’s executive director, reads Rachel’s writing during the April 10 ceremony.
