  • Dr. Steve Niva: Professor of Middle East Studies – Panelist and Moderator
  • Haj Sami Sadiq Subaih: Mayor of the West Bank Palestinian village of al Aqabah, targeted for demolition by the IDF – Panelist
  • Dahlia Wasfi: Iraqi-American activist  whose childhood was spent in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq– Panelist
  • Zoriah Miller: Award- winning photo-journalist in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip – Panelist and Workshop Presenter
  • Rawhieh el Subaih: Kindergarten Teacher and head of the Rural Women’s Association in al Aqabah – Panelist

  • Tracy Manzell: – High school history teacher, member of G.I. Voice project, and Family Readiness Group Leader when husband Seth deployed to Iraq – Workshop presenter
  • Seth Manzell: Deployed to Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom III, Iraq Veterans against the War and Co-Director of  G.I. Voice – Panelist and Workshop Presenter
  • Josh Simpson: Iraq Veterans Against the War and formerly a U.S. counterintelligence agent for six years who left the army reserve after being ordered back to Iraq for a second time – Panelist and Workshop Presenter
  • Warren Guykema: – Chaired the Episcopal Diocese’s Committee on Israel/Palestine for the Olympia Diocese & served on the Steering Committee for Standing with the Living Stones Conference  –  Workshop Presenter
  • Susan Rosen: – Co-founder and long-term participant in the Jewish-Muslim Compassionate Listening Group – Workshop Presenter
  • Mustafa Mohamedali: – Multi-lingual native of Kenya  and member of Masjid Al-Nur and Islamic Center of Olympia, active in interfaith dialogue  – Workshop Presenter
  • Mea Moore: International educator and Fulbright team member in Palestine/Israel doing peace education curriculum for U.S. students  – Moderator and Workshop Presenter
  • Dr. Muhammad Ayub: Bridge-builder, educator and organizer around issues of Islamophobia, immigration reform, and the stifling of public debate – Workshop Presenter
  • Dr. Melissa Saul: – Faculty in social justice and peace education, U. of Idaho School of Education; recently awarded Fulbright-Hays group grant to culminate in film and curriculum about Israel/Palestine for US students – Workshop Presenter
