Peace vigil – week 90
We continue to gather and advocate for Palestinians to remain safely in Gaza, and for peace with justice, and also to bring attention to people detained without charge and to our first amendment rights.
It has been more than ninety weeks since Israel began its destruction of Gaza following October 7, 2023. Children in Gaza continue to face unconscionable starvation imposed by the Israeli government and military. Join us today and every Friday to say “FEED GAZA NOW!” If you can, please bring your own sign with that message, or come and use one of our other signs calling for a free Palestine. Bring a friend!
Thanks to the Olympia Fellowship of Reconciliation for organizing these peace vigils through the years, and for inviting us to share this space as we advocate for peace. Join us every week at Percival Landing, in downtown Olympia. It’s important we remain visible in our collective work for peace.
