Two writers, one Palestinian and one Jewish, exploring ways to move forward.
Nada Elia and Alice Rothchild have published books in the last year that focus on Palestine/Israel in two very different ways. Alice’s is a young-adult novel, while Nada’s is a nonfiction exploration and analysis. What the books have in common in addition to their Palestine/Israel focus is awakening to injustice. One is a personal awakening, the other is intersectional — an exploration of the connected and intertwined social fabric. Both books include options for moving forward.
