Peace Works 2009
A Celebration of the Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural Project
Art, Resistance and Solidarity: Creative Networking for Peace

Olympia-Rafah Mural (in process)
Please join us in celebrating the completion of the Mural (phase II) on Saturday, October 17th. We will honor all participants through a day of food, discussion, procession, music, dancing, and celebration. Highlights include Native American and Rachel Corrie Foundation delegates speaking on their recent trips to the West Bank and Gaza, and a workshop on Art & Activism.
In the evening, we will formally dedicate the Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural to the city and people of Olympia, Washington and Rafah, Palestine; to all those fighting for justice; and to the memory of our sisters and brothers around the world who have fallen in the struggle against oppression. We aim to build upon the relationships and connections made through the mural as we continue to work together for Peace and Justice across movements and borders.
Onward!
We hope to see you all!
